What a day.

Work as usual was hectic. Made tons of phone calls during the day to the guests & invitees. Lucky me, I managed to reach my target of 120 pax within two days. Hehe..hebat tak hebat la kan. But how many would actually show up, God knows. Ni bukan WILD party kan yg sume confirm nak RSVP, ini semua stock MD/CEO and above. Protocols. Busan. Hidup berkeluarga pun ada protocol, kerja pun kena jugak. Eissh...padahal hidung semua ada dua lobang, so why have to treat them differently? Dunia.

Came down from the office at half past 5. It was raining so heavily that Gloria Jeans downstairs jadi banjir. I bought myself a cup Irish Creme Latte, which I altered myself and alas became a Caramel Machiato. How I did it? DOn't ask.

So I sat at the cafe sippin my hot "melochot"** drink while waiting for the hujan to reda. Half hour later, I walked down to the carpark and managed to reach home within an hour. Considered cepat la, knowing Malaysian drivers tetiba jadi perlahan mentally and physically during time hujan. Padahal benda tu air je. Kecoh dia lain macam.

Took my bath and bunkd on my favourite green couch. Again, I tried to rasa apa yang orang lain rasa when they lepak my house. Amongst comments received:

Apit : "Umah shosh macam kat London. Wooden floor, Lampu malap, Cozyyyy...Kecikk.." (imagine Apit cakap and buat aksi shnuggle shnuggle)

Zera : "Umah lu bikin guwe mauk tido"

Maylin :"Kau pasang aircond, confirm aku tak datang. Nanti kena marah sebab asik tido" (seriously aku pissed off gila bila kau manjannnnnggg tido, gampang..)

Anonymous: "Shit. Nak?"

So, I guess my harta paling berharga I have besides my car is my little nyomel house. Eventho its small, tapi everything is within reach. Ampang Point & Suzis amat dekat. Jaya Jusco coming up (what were they thinking?) toilet dekat, pergi dapur guling2 merangkak pun sampai, if mabs boleh park depan umah takyah naik tangga...ape lagi? owh..umah JOjoi dekat. Umah Rastam dekat. Umah Maylin Jauh. Yeay!

At 9.00 I texted them asking their exact koordinat. Joi said he was going to Subang, of which we were suppose to have dinner together, but that didn't happen. So I gave up. Then Tam called. Borak for a while, then suddenly the line got cut off. J texted if I wanted to accompany him to KLIA. I didnt reply, until he called and said he needed my help.

So off we drove to KLIA in my car. 959 lost her virginity last nite coz JOjoi sped like 140km/hr. Tak pernah di buat siot. And I kept quiet the entire journey coz I was hungry. I was restless. Last2 sampai jugak. Then VP OTAI SUZIS called to lock for Mr. President's time.

Hoii!! Tak Loya ke tekak duduk Suzis?

When we arrived, all of them were already there and then came a new friend named Melati** and her bro and his gf. They were ocay la. Cool. Just PDA sikit2. tapi takpe..

A while later Ad, Sal, had to leave coz dah past midnite and we did our standard 'ritual' la. Whatever that means.. Its kinda fun tho. Ada Sense of Belonging.To me la.

Just don't smooch the wrong thing, otey.

Luruh jantung. Damit.

Blessed with F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Traffic was heavy yesterday evening. Thank God Peyek called to ask me out for dinner so tak kesah la jam pun, lepas ni boleh makan. Rusty was on his way to the driving range, and he said to call when I'm done bathing.

Rushed home, quickly had my bath and changed into my seluar tido and shoot to Suzis.Got stuck in the massive traffic (right in front of Suzis' entrance) for a pooklahanut 15 minutes. I came down and ordered. Since it wuz just the two of us, so I took my own shweet time savouring my ayam ,which I believe the portion had been reduced and Toshy wasn't happy. The list went on in my head like a choo-choo train whilst I was cleaning myself. Maggi TomYam could be too hot for me, Chicken Wings was too light (not real food - according to Rusty), Tosai Masala could be soggy and salty so I settled for the Deep Fried Chicken Chop with BP on the side.

Ok, for some reason I can't write properly and I've been reading those lines over and over again...ffffooohhh..coool down..

And so we talked and talked. Peyek was telling me how happy he is with his new job. and I was happy for him..Told him to be on the alert for new openings. Fuih, if ever I secure a job at Great Eastern, I'll wake up at 8.am everyday. Peyek convinced me of the flexy hours, the "kaching-kaching" pay cheque he receives every month, the gym on the 7th floor, the great working environment, the cool lady boss (wujud eh?) and of course how near is it to our homes. I'm starting to hate my route to work. Emph, alasan kan. Saja carik masalah. Macam tak biasa je.

So that was it. Zera called to join me at Suzis, but told her I was leaving knowing the fact that we would end up in Suzis again by 10 p.m. Our normal routine, be it ribut-petir-puting-beliung-taufan we'd be there, no questions asked. And no one seems to object. Makcik Leela a/p Subramaniam dah letak dadah ape ntah dalam Teh O Ais Limau kitorang, God knows.I wonder when or what cilaka-ness would actually make us stop from our routine. We spent an average of 21 hours a week in Suzis, given 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlimited amount of "Naga Hishap Shisha" (Max the tokey shisha is so lucky coz we jump for joy everytime we see the Red Kembara drive thru the pintu gerbang), endless ordering of air. Yang pelik tu tak jugak kencing2..minum la sebaldi teh o ais pun, rileekk jee..(we lepak in style- tak main la minum air kosong mcm rempit) .

So coming back to the above mentioned story (where were we actually?) Zera came to my place. and I called Rastam and told him to come. We had McD (dah 3 hari makan lemak berkati-kati), then pegi beli DVD and watched at home. My other half mandom lagi for the gazillonth time, and takmau kacau takot dia urat otak dia putus. Zera went home after the dvd session. Jojoi was at Suzis but I wasn't there (weird).

Russ stayed on, and we had a great time talking :)

Si Buta

Tenang nya dia.. How I wish I could be as tenang as the Si Buta..was about to beli nasik lemak at Coffee Bean and I saw this Kelly Eng (Keling) memimpin tangan Si Buta (melayu)... si buta kacak, manis, rambut tersisir rapi, nicely pressed shirt and pants, and was smiling. Bercahaya bersinar2 senyum dia..And when he got to the nasik lemak stall, he said "nasik putih biasa". And so the least I could do was pay for his breakfast. I saw him leaving the stall and I smiled at him (like as if he knew ) - he smiled back and I drove off..

I was kinda early today for work. Stayed up late last nite after our "Pookey Mark Ko Meletop- Pow!!" session at Suzis. Came home at around 1.30 a.m. but slept at about half past 2. Is that important? Not.

Picked up my baby from school at 7pm. Fed her, and I went to bed. Was really exhausted from all the preparation for Networking session on the 19th nanti at The Weld. Hopefully everything will be ocay la, given that I have less than a week to get 100 participants for the event. And we're extending like 700 invitations to guests and Entrepreneurs...Susah ke? Entah la.

Speaking of Invitations, I'm having a so called wild party/hari raya open house this Thursday (Deepa Day) at my place. I have been thinking of inviting friends over to my place for quite sometime dah. And since the news dah spread so I have no choice but to have it jugak. Everyone seems to be VERY excited that I'm organizing the party, but told them not to put up hopes too high coz seriously, I have no idea how it would turn out to be. And my 'significant other' says she won't be able (whops, Im no Lesbo) to make it coz she had made prior plans with her family or so. Hmm, will see how la kan..
